YAY
So thanks to the wonderful engrish speaking folks at Venus auto I should have my car back up and running by mon. night. WOOHOO at them dropping the price on the harness to 40bucks too. Soon, I'll have it back and be able to start finishing it up. Next step is getting mckinney mounts so i can mount the engine 2 inches lower and 1 to the right. then a new hood. And then i get to start stripping the interior so me and john can weld in the roll cage. So if i'm lucky then by thanksgiving i can hopefully make the last autox of the year. and save up some money for coilovers.. and the lsd.. and the fmic... and the greddy intake... and the seats... and the bushing sets... and the z32 breaks... and the ss break lines... and the zenki lip... and the ems... and the bigger turbo... and the new fuel rail.. and higher capacity injectors.. and the new radiator... and the new cams... and the porting and polishing... and the new valve springs.. and the new pulleys... and the new rods... and the lexan... and the new wheels... and the new tires... and the new tires... and the new tires... and even more new tires... and the .... well only about 15 thousand more to go. go me Current Mood:  anxious |

engine woes
So i pulled out the old pos, and prepped the new one, and in the process of putting it in noticed that the motor mounts seem to fit about 4 inches too far forward. now this is just a shame, i suppose i need to get an r32/33 crossmember, which means i'll have to beat the shit out of my exhaust to clear the powerstearing, and then i'll get to cut out the skeleton of my hood. so long story short, if you know anybody that has an r33 or r32 skyline engine crossmember let me know. |

so in attempting to "fix" my ps2 controller i broke it today :( so i guess i'll be going to best buy and buying a new one tomorrow, *sigh* and the thought of playing socom without worrying about my rate of fire changing is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooo nice :( ahhhh well. one of my friends online is trying to convince me to buy a controller with a turbo so i can cheat with the m16 anyway, perhaps i'll do that... neyway all enrolled for classes and have my books and life is starting to look dreadful, but only because i tested into the mathclass below what i was hoping to get into :( so no no no no calc for me this quarter :( but on a brighter note, the head of the math dept. is a really really cool and intelligent woman! so i'm happy to be going there! neyway beer is good, mud is good, i'm off to do else Current Mood:  cranky |
